At Animal Medical Center of Rome, our mission is to provide excellent quality compassionate medical care for your pet-children. We understand the unprecedented challenge surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic and feel the responsibility to protect our families and the clients and patients we serve.
Effective immediately, Animal Medical Center is offering to our clients telemedicine (audio and video) appointments Monday – Friday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with our Licensed Veterinary Nurses and Dr. Edwards. This virtual option allows us to continue providing our patients with the best care while ensuring safety from the comfort of your home.
If you wish to request a virtual visit, please call or text 706-413-2738 and include your pet’s name and the nature of the visit. Our entire staff is utilizing this scheduling platform and you will receive a reply within 2 hours of your initial request.
The fee for the virtual office visit will be $35. This will include your video and/or audio call during which time we will attempt to help you handle your pet’s problem. If we decide that your pet needs to be seen in person the virtual office visit fee will be applied to your emergency visit.
After hours the Northwest Georgia Veterinary Emergency clinic will be open and available to see your pet on an emergency basis. They are located at 111 John Maddox Drive, Rome, GA . and their phone number is (706) 204-8425.
